Mentorship program 2.0: summary of the first meeting

On Friday, April 28, the coordinators of the mentorship program Care in Change project held the first offline meeting with mentees (program participants). In a friendly and warm atmosphere, we got to know each other and talked about the features of the program.

One of the important notes for mentees – events at Care in Change program are built in a logical order. That is why it is important to attend all events as scheduled and not miss them. Another note is working with mentors: the difficulty of being in a new country becomes easier when you have someone who has already gone through the path of integration and who can share their own experience.

It was a pure joy to see such active, sociable, inquisitive and open participants! During the meeting, we received wishes regarding the program, as well as events that would be desirable to organize. It is hard to overestimate the importance of such two-way communication, when each party wants to do the best for the other.

Thank you for your stories that you shared with the others! They became the connecting link that brought all the participants together.

We are already planning the next events and are looking forward to meeting our mentees.
