As a result of the ongoing full-scale invasion of Ukraine, a significant number of Ukrainians have been forced to leave their homeland in search of safety and stability. Many of these people have found refuge in countries such as Sweden, seeking solace from the devastating effects of the conflict. The influx of Ukrainian migrants to Sweden has created both challenges and opportunities for the host country. The urgency and scale of this displacement requires a level of adaptability and responsiveness that can sometimes challenge the capacity of local authorities.
This situation highlights the importance of collaborative efforts involving government agencies, non-profit organisations like Help in Change, and local communities to ensure a more effective and compassionate response.
We are driven by a profound mission –to help Ukrainian refugees integrate into Swedish society. Our purpose is rooted in fostering a sense of belonging, providing essential resources, and offering support to those in need.
In the face of upheaval and uncertainty, we strive to be a beacon of stability and support for Ukrainian refugees in Sweden. Our commitment goes beyond mere assistance. We are dedicated to creating an environment where each individual feels accepted, understood, and empowered to rebuild their lives in a new country.
Help in Change has been supporting Ukrainians in Sweden since the start of the full-scale invasion in February 2022. Since then we have organized humanitarian campaigns, professional, cultural, sports and leisure events, language and upskill courses, personal career guidance and much more!
Together we can do even more!
