About us
Help in Change is a multinational non-profit association based in Stockholm. It was founded in March 2022 as a horizontal network of individuals who wanted to help Ukrainian refugees in Sweden.
In November 2022 we launched Care in Change project with the support of theEuropean Social Fund.

Our areas
We have created a web guide about Sweden in Ukrainian and Russian, where we have collected all the most important information for newcomers under the Temporary Protection Directive. The site covers topics such as migration rules, medicine, housing, children, animals, etc.

When we realised that there was a need for personal support and guidance, we started our mentoring program, where we connected over 100 Ukrainians with locals. The programme was a success and many newcomers from Ukraine received help and some found a new friend.
Later, we started small group language classes and began our integration events.
In November 2022, with the support of the European Social Fund, we launched the Care in Change project.

From the very beginning, our volunteers were gathering at the Migration office in Sundbyberg and later in Märsta providing the necessities fo newcomers from Ukraine. Later our volunteers started regularly visiting the main refugee settlement at Mikrofonvägen and other settlements around Stockholm helping people in need with information and humanitarian aid.
The Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is the chief executive body for Help in Change. The board ensures that the organisation acts in accordance with its mission and is responsible for internal control. The Members of the Board are elected at the Annual Meeting, which is the organization's chief decision-making body.
